Certification
Once you’ve completed your study with Speciss College and passed your exams, you’ll be awarded the Speciss Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Technicians’ Level 1 Certificate.
Thereafter you can move on to the Level 2 technician’s course.
These practical qualifications will ensure that you are relevant to the needs of the modern industrial environment.

Entry requirements for this course
To join the Speciss family and kick-start your career,
you need to have passed at least the Certificate level of an Electrical and
Electronic Engineering qualification.
Any relevant prior learning is recognised and considered.

2. I/O System, Programming Terminals and Peripherals
3. Installation and Maintenance of PLCs
4. Relay Logic
5. Ladder Logic
6. Timers
7. Counters
8. Data Transfer
9. Process Control
10. Data Communications
11. Number Systems and Codes and Digital Logic
12. RTUs and PACs
Examinations
Exams are held at the end of the course and cover both
the theory and practical sections of the syllabus. You’ll register for the
exams with the Speciss College Exams Officer.
Books & stationery
You’ll need to bring your own notebooks and writing materials to your classes. You also need to make copies of handouts and manuals.
