The Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe (IOBZ) is a board for bankers and any professionals who aspire to work in the banking and financial services sector.

Founded in 1947, the Institute's primary purpose is to equip students with industry-specific skills and towards this end, it offers Banking examinations at Certificate, Intermediate and Diploma levels twice a year.

The standard of these examinations is regarded highly by stakeholders in the banking sector and the qualifications are recognised across Africa and beyond.

In addition to administering exams, the Institute holds an annual Winter Banking School, where prominent business leaders present papers to delegates drawn from the banking fraternity.
