With its Head Office located at the Chitepo Campus, Speciss College is the largest private education institution in Zimbabwe. It started operating in 1958 so has been providing quality education and training for over 60 years.
Speciss College provides a diverse range of education and training courses for students from all over Southern Africa and beyond. Its mission is to maintain its position as the largest, most diverse and most comprehensive independent provider of quality education and training in Zimbabwe.
Speciss has four campuses: Chitepo, Technical (in Highfield), Chitungwiza and Bulawayo. Each Campus is headed by a Campus Director. Within each Campus are Departments known as Schools headed by Directors of Studies. The Chitepo Campus has four departments namely Business School, High School (teaching the Cambridge O and A level syllabuses), Study Centre and the Computer and Secretarial School. The other campuses have a similar set up though the Chitungwiza and Technical campus High Schools teach the ZIMSEC O and A Level syllabuses. The Technical, Bulawayo and Chitungwiza campuses include Technical and Garment Schools providing a range of technical and vocational qualifications. Tuition is also offered by highly qualified professionals who are experts in their specific area of training
Over the years, the college has churned out thousands of graduates through full time and part time classes as well as through our refresher courses targeted for those already on the job. We have thus trained an endless list of participants from an equally endless list of organisations in both the private and public sector. Our in-house training is designed for specific companies needs and allows us to send trainers to clients’ premises to provide training there instead of participants coming to us. However, we are flexible, either the participants come to us or we go out to the customer.
Most of the qualifications which Speciss College offers are internationally accredited from examination bodies including Cambridge, ZIMSEC, ABMA, ICM, IAC, ACCA, NCC Education, ZIM, IAC, IPMZ, IATA, CIPS, CILT, City and Guilds, PMIZ, SFAAZ, LCCI and many others.
