Who will issue your certificate?

Once you've completed your study with Speciss College and passed the International Travel and Tourism Consultant Diploma exams, you'll be awarded the IATA/UFTAA International Travel and Tourism Consultant Diploma. That's the top rung of the ladder of IATA/UFTAA qualifications.

To enter this course you need to have the IATA Travel and Tourism Consultant Diploma.


 

What you will learn

The course comprises the following modules:

  1. Module 1: Managerial Skills 1
  2. Module 2: Negotiation Skills
  3. Module 3: Special-Interest Travel and Tour Production
  4. Module 4: Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE)
  5. Module 5: Administration and Accounting
  6. Module 6: Marketing 1
  7. Module 7: Technology in the Travel Industry



What exams will you write?

Exams are written in March, June, September and December. You must register for your exams through the Exams Officer at Speciss College. Information on the exam fees, which are payable at least 6 weeks before the exam, can be obtained from the Speciss College Exams Officer or from the IATA website.



When and where are the classes and what are the fees?

Lessons are offered at different times on different campuses, with some lessons being held during the day, and others in the evening or at weekends.

Often the same course can be studied at a variety of different times, so you can choose the one which is more convenient to you.

You’ll get your personal timetable when you register at Speciss College.



What about books and stationery?

You must purchase the IATA/UFTAA Study Kit before the start of the course, through Speciss College. Please discuss this with the Director of Studies: Business School.

You'll need to bring your own notebooks and writing materials to your classes. For your convenience, we have a range of stationery items at the Speciss bookshops.
