What you will learn

The City & Guilds Diploma in Design and Craft for Fashion Wear syllabus will cover the following areas in great detail:
  • Fashion Design
  • Pattern Making
  • Garment Construction

What exams will you write?

You exams will include written papers and practical assessments.

Exams are held in June and December each year.

You will register for the examinations with the Examinations Officer at Speciss College.

When and where are the classes and what are the fees?

Lessons are offered at different times on different campuses, with some lessons being held during the day, and others in the evening or at weekends.

Often the same course can be studied at a variety of different times, so you can choose the one which is more convenient to you.

You’ll get your personal timetable when you register at Speciss College.

 


What about books and stationery?

You’ll need to bring your own notebooks, writing materials, fabric and patterns to your classes.

For your convenience we have at the Speciss bookshops a range of stationery and other useful items such as brown paper for pattern making, scissors, and tape measures.
