Who will issue your certificate?

Once you’ve completed your study with Speciss College and passed your exams, you’ll be awarded the SFAAZ (Shipping and Forwarding Agents’ Association of Zimbabwe) Customs Legislation and Procedures Certificate.

The Shipping and Forwarding Agents Association of Zimbabwe (SFAAZ) is a member of the Federation of Clearing and Forwarding Associations of Southern Africa (FCFASA) and also of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

SFAAZ was founded in 1955 with a mandate to represent the interests of its member companies. The association also has a mandate to provide training programmes for the industry.

The course modules provided by the association are tailor-made to meet the needs of industry, making SFAAZ graduates highly marketable in Zimbabwe and the Southern Africa region.


 

Entry requirements for this course

To enrol for the Customs Legislation and Procedures Certificate, you need to have relevant working experience in the customs, shipping or forwarding industry. When you come to register at Speciss please bring an official letter from your current employer, confirming your position and duties.

What exams will you write?

After completion of the syllabus, you will write exams. You’ll register for the exams with SFAAZ.

When and where are the classes and what are the fees?

Lessons are offered at different times on different campuses, with some lessons being held during the day, and others in the evening or at weekends.

Often the same course can be studied at a variety of different times, so you can choose the one which is more convenient to you.

You’ll get your personal timetable when you register at Speciss College.

 



What about books and stationery?

You’ll need to bring your own notebooks and writing materials to your classes. For your convenience, we have a range of stationery items at the Speciss bookshops.
