Who will issue your certificate?
Once you’ve completed your study with Speciss College and passed your exams, you’ll be awarded the SFAAZ (Shipping and Forwarding Agents’ Association of Zimbabwe) Freight Forwarding Practice Certificate.
If you have already passed the SFAAZ Customs Legislation and Procedures (CLP) Certificate you will automatically be awarded the FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations) Diploma.
If not, you can proceed to the CLP Course, after which you will be awarded the FIATA Diploma.
Entry requirements for this course
To enrol for the Freight Forwarding Practice Certificate, you need to have a minimum of 5 “O” levels, including English and Maths.

- Introduction to Freight Forwarding
- Maritime Containers
- Multi-modal Transport
- Air Transport
- Road Transport
- National / International Carriage by Inland Waterway
- Dangerous Goods
- Safety and Security
- Information and Technologies (ICT) in Forwarding
What exams will you write?
After completion of the syllabus, exams are held in November. You’ll register for the exams with SFAAZ.
When and where are the classes and what are the fees?
What about books and stationery?
You'll need to bring your own notebook and writing materials to your classes. For your convenience, we have a range of stationery items at the Speciss bookshops.
