Who will issue your certificate?

This qualification leads on directly from the Diploma in Business Administration (Part 2). Once you’ve completed your study with Speciss College and passed the exams, you’ll be awarded the Diploma in Business Administration (Part 3) . It is the third rung of the ladder of this series of ZIM qualifications. The fourth is the Higher Diploma in Business Administration.

The Zimbabwe Institute of Management (ZIM), which was established in 1957, is dedicated to the improvement of the standard of management in Zimbabwe, and to building up a reservoir of management skills which will be of lasting benefit to the country.

ZIM offers a number of courses leading from basic administrative and supervisory skills to higher diplomas in management and in business administration. Graduates may apply for registration with the University of Derby for their MSc in Strategic Management.

Entry requirements for this course

To register for the ZIM Diploma in Business Administration (Part 3), you must hold the ZIM Diploma in Business Administration (Part 2) or a similar qualification.

Bring certified copies of your certificates with you when you come to Speciss College to register as a student!

You will study 5 subjects, as shown below:

What exams will you write?

Exams are held in May and November each year. You must register for your exams at ZIM. Only students who have been registered as members of ZIM for at least 3 months are permitted to write the examinations. Information on the exam fees, which are payable at least 6 weeks before the exam, can be obtained from the ZIM website.

In addition to registering with Speciss College for your tuition, you must register as a student member with the Zimbabwe Institute of Management at the following address:

When and where are the classes and what are the fees?

Lessons are offered at different times on different campuses, with some lessons being held during the day, and others in the evening or at weekends.

Often the same course can be studied at a variety of different times, so you can choose the one which is more convenient to you.

You’ll get your personal timetable when you register at Speciss College.

 

 



What about books and stationery?

You’ll need to bring your own notebooks and writing materials to your classes. For your convenience, we have a range of stationery items at the Speciss bookshops. The list of prescribed and recommended books is available on the ZIM website. We strongly urge you to buy a copy of the prescribed texts.
