Who will issue your certificate?

Once you’ve completed your study with Speciss College and passed the exams, you’ll be awarded the IAC Preliminary Certificate in the subjects of your choice - see details in the paragraph headed "The syllabus" below. That’s the second rung of the ladder of IAC qualifications. The third is the IAC Higher Certificate level.

Set your future in motion with IAC, the Institute of Administration and Commerce! These qualifications are recognized, respected and affordable, so they give you access to improved employment prospects and further learning opportunities

Employers throughout Southern Africa recognise and acknowledge the IAC qualifications, because IAC has built up, since its establishment in 1927, a reputation for excellence and academic rigour.

The University of Zimbabwe offers direct entry to the second year of their Bachelor of Accountancy Degree programme (BAcc) for students who have successfully completed the Institute's Diploma in Financial Accountancy. The University of Zimbabwe also accepts IAC graduates with the required post graduate experience to its MBA programmes.

IAC is recognised internationally for membership purposes by equivalent professional bodies. An IAC diploma is the start of a great future for you!

When and where are the classes and what are the fees?

Lessons are offered at different times on different campuses, with some lessons being held during the day, and others in the evening or at weekends.

Often the same course can be studied at a variety of different times, so you can choose the one which is more convenient to you.

You’ll get your personal timetable when you register at Speciss College.

What about books and stationery?

You’ll need to bring your own notebooks and writing materials to your classes. For your convenience, we have a range of stationery items at the Speciss bookshops.
