People from all departments within the organisation will benefit from this course. It is particularly relevant to non-financial managers although personnel with a financial management background will also benefit from attending.


What you will learn

  • How accounting works, creating profit statement and balance sheet from given data, including provisions and adjustments;
  • Sources and applications of finance, gearing, asset values, balance sheet ratios, profit statement ratios, tax;
  • Working capital management, cash flow, the dangers of inflation and rapid growth, long term cash flow strategies, the causes of business failure;
  • Break-even, marginal, absorption and activity basis costing, pricing, contribution analysis;
  • Capital budgeting, discounted cash flow techniques, cost/benefit analysis, sot reduction, budgets.

When and where are the classes and what are the fees?

Lessons are offered at different times on different campuses, with some lessons being held during the day, and others in the evening or at weekends.

Often the same course can be studied at a variety of different times, so you can choose the one which is more convenient to you.
